She’s carried us 20,000 miles over nearly six years. North into Lake Superior, South to Key West, East to Montreal, and West as far as St. Louis. Through nine canal systems, hundreds of locks, up and down mountain waterways. We’ve seen beautiful sunsets and gorgeous starry nights. Experienced North America’s geology, geography, history, and cultural mosaics.

We’ve also experienced mechanical breakdowns, bad weather, (boat) cabin fever, dog diarrhea, Covid, family deaths, two shoulder surgeries, two medevacs, uphill walks to remote grocery stores, and many more. We’ve met fellow travelers, friends whose paths we never might have encountered, people from all walks of life, each of whom has their own full story.
